Once you have your lens prescription, Eye & Ear's lens specialists will help you select the right type of lens to match your needs and lifestyle

We offer a wide selection of prescription lenses, each designed to make your eyesight as close to perfect as possible.

Here are a few of the many options available in prescription lenses at Eye & Ear:

Varilux

Varilux lenses are the most technologically advanced progressive lenses available in the world. The name Varilux means "variable light" to denote the progressive, or variable, power of the lens. It is the first progressive lens ever designed and continues to be the #1 prescribed progressive lens by eye care professionals worldwide.

There are many attempts to duplicate Varilux technology by lower-quality imitations on the market. But you should know that the latest generation of Varilux lenses are protected by eight patents – one is pending. So when you wear Varilux, you are guaranteed the best technology available for treating presbyopia.

Crizal

Everyday, millions of people suffer from eyestrain caused by glare on their glasses. Crizal lenses can help your tired eyes find relief from glare and renewed clarity of vision.

Crizal lenses are anti-reflective (AR) lenses, meaning they reduce the glare that causes eye fatigue.

Crizal lenses are designed with two-sided scratch resistance, making them tough, durable and long-lasting.

Long hours in front of a computer and harsh artificial lighting can make eyes tired and stressed. In clinical studies, Crizal lenses were proven to dramatically reduce eye fatigue caused by light reflections that cause glare.

Crizal lenses dramatically reduce distracting double images and wear on your eyes created by headlights from other vehicles and streetlights.

Crizal lenses greatly reduce the reflections other people see on your glasses. So your eyes come shining through, no matter the light conditions.

Crizal features an advanced hydrophobic property that makes cleaning a breeze.

Sunsensors

Sunsensors are a photocromic lens with a very quick reaction time. Most darkening occurs within the first minute of sun exposure. The darken Sunsensor lens can provude 83% UV absorption, making it a true sunglass lens.

Sunsensors are made from lightweight plastic and are available in grey or brown. They are hard coated as standard with the option of adding an anti-reflection coating.

Hi-Index

When you hear Hi-index lenses think thin and light. A higher index of refraction (Hi-index), means that light travels faster through the lens than through normal glass or plastic lenses. Because Hi-Index lenses are denser, we can achieve the same amount of visual correction with a thinner lens. The result?
